Performing at Mindil

The Mindil Beach Sunset Market books a wide variety and level of performers and entertainers from fire artists, circus performers and musicians to brass bands, choirs and anything that looks interesting! We also book lots of acts to keep families and kids entertained.

If you’d like to be an Entertainer at Mindil, please fill in the Performer Application 2024 form and email it to [email protected].

Bookings are essential to perform in the Soundshell Stage, applications are open from February 2024.

Busking at Mindil

Busking at Mindil throughout the season is $10 per night. Buskers wanting to perform must arrive and check in at the information booth at 3:30pm to be allocated a spot by a MBSMA staff member. Please note, busking spots are limited and are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Learn about our location facilities

Many grassed areas are excellent venues for performance artists. We recommend bringing a rope to mark out your 'stage' area because the crowds get busy and people like to gather around to watch the show.

Community Space

Our largest performance space providing a ground level concrete stage and large grassed area for the audience with 3 phase power. Times will vary depending on other performances and events on the same evening.

Sunset Strip

This performance space is located on the grassed area between the beach and the food stalls. It’s smaller than the Sound Shell and we are able to provide a small vocal PA for performances but no sound operator. Artists will need to operate and supply all other equipment including lights, cords and adaptors.
